Technology that anticipates your insulin needs and adjusts the dosage!

Our technology continuously anticipates your insulin needs, adjusts insulin delivery and corrects hyperglycemia automatically, while protecting you from hypoglycemia. What’s more, thanks to the Auto Meal function, the system can detect if you’ve missed a meal dose and deliver more insulin when you need it, to help reduce post-prandial hyperglycemia.

Medtrum hybrid closed loop FAQ

Do I need to check my blood sugar with a capillary test?

Blood glucose monitoring is essential for people with diabetes. Traditionally, this has been done by capillary testing (pricking the fingertip). However, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems are now available.

These devices measure glucose in interstitial fluid on a continuous basis, providing a more complete picture of blood glucose variations. They can reduce the frequency of capillary tests, but occasional spot checks are still necessary, notably to calibrate the device or confirm abnormal values.

It is important to consult your healthcare professional to determine which monitoring method is best suited to your situation.
