Do not dispose of your pump or used needles with household waste. To avoid any risk of injury to collection staff, and to ensure proper treatment, this waste must be disposed of in special containers.

A collection kit donated by Medtrum

To support users in the safe management of their medical waste, Medtrum Suisse offers a free Sharpsafe box kit comprising 2 x 4L boxes.

This kit covers an average of 1 year’s waste collection (used patch reservoirs and needles).

Once the boxes have been filled, simply drop them off or contact your nearest pharmacy for safe disposal and recycling.
